RN – ICU LTAC – 12 HOUR NIGHTS – 48 hour week – 13 week contract – Long Term Acute Care. Treating patients with medically-complex conditions receive daily physician assessments. Vents are managed by RT’s who are on site 24/7. The nurses do not need intubation experience but nurse will need to be competent in handling ETT (which are rare but we do get them) and trachs (which are quite frequent). Critical drips drop to a ratio of 1:3 typically, as do high risk airways (anyone who has an ETT or anyone whose trach is less than 3 days old). All stipends rovided are already factored into gross weekly total. We also provide a round trip flight or mileage reimbursement ($0.50 a mile, capped at $1,000 per 13-Week Contract). We do not provide rental cars on this assignment.
Requirements:• MI State RN License. • BLS Certification (MUST BE AHA). • ACLS Certification (MUST BE AHA). • Minimum of one year ICU / LTAC experience. • Cardiac Drip experience. • Vents experience. • Intubation experience. • Travel experience. Our company's Joint Commission standards require 1-year experience in this field within the past 3 years to qualify. This experience must be documented on your resume!
